News at Natsu

126 meters is the height of the tower we could build within a year from all the paper we no longer need since we equip our drivers with PDAs (pocket sized computers). With our PDAs our delivery notes are redundant since all deliveries will be transmitted electronically from now on.

PS: Our Natsu-tower would be higher than the Statue of Liberty!

Now our wraps are free of emulsifying agents, wetting agents and flour treatment agents. We think they taste even better now.

It´s getting hot! The first Natsu-soup which is especially in winter a gain for our range. Our international soups to boil are made out of a lot of fresh vegetables, precooked noodles and an aromatic bouillon. We have a vegetarian variety and versions with chicken breast or shrimps. Just add boiling water, wait 1 minute, stir well and then you can already smell the great odor of the spices.

The healthy energy salads by Natsu have found their way into the freezer cabinet. For your lunch or your big appetite now and then. The four varieties which are high in fiber and rich in protein make you definitely replete.

  • March 2013

For the packagings of our sandwiches and wraps we solely use FSC-certified board. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council and means that the trees of which the carton is made mainly comes from sustainable cultivated woods.

  • March 2013

Those little drawings and texts you find on our sandwich packs, that hopefully entertain you during your lunch, are printed with colors that do not contain mineral oil. Like this we prevent that unhealthy substances get into your food.  We hope you enjoy it.

In our sushi boxes you find wasabi and ginger packed separately now. We want to make sure they don´t give their taste to the sushi before you bring them together. Furthermore our Wasabi preparation contains 15% of real wasabi from now on. Of course we still stick to our values and surrender the use of artificial colors. The bright green comes from dried and powdered leaves of wasabi we use for coloration. Find more information here if you want.

The growing and processing of our shrimps is as of now certified by the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA).
The GAA is the leading international non-profit trade association which is dedicated to advancing environmentally and socially responsible aquaculture.

  • July 2010

All vehicles of our fleet of refrigerator vans will drive now at the maximum speed of 140km/h (87 mph). Hence our delivery vans will emit significantly less carbon dioxide. This is only a small step towards the big goal, because it is unfortunately not possible yet to avoid carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions entirely. But we are working on it.

We achieved a 'higher level' of the International Food Standards (IFS) in our sushi production.
